A residential duplex in a historic Birmingham Southside neighborhood, Phelan Flats creates two 2-bedroom / 2-bath dwellings in a “flat-over-flat” configuration.  The structure was designed to blend into its historic surrounding by the use of similar size and materials, orientation to the street, and historic details.  Phelan Flats was awarded LEED “Gold” certification by the US Green Building Council.

Located within walking distance of the local university and numerous community services, The Project was conceptualized, developed, and designed by Line Scale Form and its in-house development company, Greenvine Properties.
