Formerly located in Colonial Brookwood Village in Birmingham, Alabama, YOLO (“you only live once”) Dessert Bar benefitted from tandem entrances – toward the street and to the enclosed shopping mall.  The 52-seat restaurant highlighted 16 frozen yogurt flavors with both hot and cold toppings.  The concept restaurant expanded on the frozen yogurt craze to offer gelato, cakes, cupcakes, candies, and lighter lunch fare.   The seating extended to the broad sidewalk in front of YOLO, instantly expanding its appeal to customers.
